How to Guides & Documents
CITA has developed a series of "How to" guides aiming to help the VCS to develop their IT maintain compliance and buy IT goods and services. The topics covered include: full cost recovery, IT strategy & policy, website design, inventory and backing up.

ICT Strategy Toolkit
This tool helps the VCS to develop an IT strategy or plan. It asks you to examine where you are with IT, what you want or need it to do and plan how you might meet those needs.
NCVO Guides
If you are considering updating or have IT issues these guides might be of use to you. The National ICT Hub comissioned VCOs to produce useful guides including; how to manage your ICT and a guide produced by CITA showing what software is available at low cost to the VCS.
ICT Champions
This is an easy to use site with questions and answers written clearly in plain English. It focusses on how technology can help voluntary and community organisations. They have some useful documents in their download section and a handy set of answer cards called "ICT Answer in a Box".

A directory of the ICT support network across the North East from Voluntary Organisations Network North East (VONNE).
