CITA can provide the specialist support you need to help you manage your information.
Whether you have an existing database that needs development or you are starting from scratch, we have the skills and experience to help. We specialise in providing low cost solutions appropriate to the needs of voluntary and community organisations. We have in-depth knowledge of the different off-the-shelf packages available and can talk you through the pros and cons of each option. We are also a distribution partner for Social Impact Tracker, a web-based database for recording your outcomes and social impact.
Alternatively, if there is nothing on the market that meets your needs, we would be happy to develop a bespoke solution for you. We have experience of developing both web-based and desktop software and can discuss which would be most suitable for your particular situation.
As a recent example, staff at Caring Hands had created a database in-house using Access to record interactions with their clients. However, they were finding it hard to output the data in a suitable format to use in reports to funders. Following discussions with the organisation, we created a flexible reporting system for the database to allow them to create the reports they needed at the touch of a button.
Dawn Henderson, Manager of Caring Hands, said:
“The reports we needed to generate were very time consuming, I would recommend other organisations to take advantage of this specialist service. What used to take hours now takes minutes. We have saved many ‘man hours’ by leaving this task to the experts and thank them for their on-going support.”
We have also recently developed a web-based contact management system with a history of interaction with each contact; and a customised outcome and impact recording system with flexible reporting options.
